Book no. 8 – 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami

1Q84

It’s ‘Inception‘, but not really; Parallel Universe, but not really; a dream, but not really… You get what I mean. It’s a very long book, written using several people’s perspective, teenage girl, 30-year old male cram school instructor by day, writer by night, 30-year old female personal instructor at a sports club, and hired investigator with oddly-shaped-head. Surprisingly though it’s written without much overlapping occurrences. It’s nothing like Vantage Point or Source Code. An interesting read, that make you want to keep on reading, but at the same time, in certain areas, the description gets too detailed and I think in some cases, redundant. I found myself flipping through the pages.
